For the past 30+ years, CMI has given back to communities in various ways.
This year, CMI teamed up with Alameda Point Collaborative (APC), a supportive housing community that helps families and individuals break the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Formed in 1999, APC is the largest supportive housing provider for homeless families in Alameda County. Their wide range of services give residents the tools they need for long-term success.
Our entire team volunteered in APC’s Children & Youth Center where we had the opportunity to provide much needed landscaping, gardening and clearing. There are nearly 300 children and youth who call APC home and we hope our time and effort helped contribute to their mission and success. Check them out at http://apcollaborative.org/.
We are also continuing our tradition of participating in United Way’s annual campaign. For over 30 years, CMI has supported the United Way’s vision of an educated community where all people live healthy, productive lives and contribute to the well-being of our community. They do this through three general areas of focus: Education, Income and Health.
CMI has continued the tradition as a company through individual contributions of our team members to support this wonderful agency. It takes all of us working together to change our communities for the better. No gift is too small. Please consider donating to your local United Way to make a difference today.
