CMI Looks Back, Gives Back
A Holiday Message
As CMI wraps up its 38th year in business, we look back and think about all we are grateful for. We are grateful for our work with all our clients—past and present; our stellar team members—past and present; our current collaboration with our M5 partners; and for those around us who have helped over the years in ways large and small to make it possible for our company to continue growing in strength and service. It is in this spirit of gratitude, especially during the holiday season, that we reflect on giving back.
CMI has been based in Sonoma County since its humble beginnings in 1977, and we were fortunate to be able to expand into Marin County a little over four years ago. While our team is spread out through Northern California, we know the value of living and working in our local communities and know the value of local support.
For the past 31 years, CMI has participated in United Way’s annual campaign. Through this organization, our company and our team members pledge to improve the lives of the disadvantaged and disenfranchised in our communities. We truly believe that it takes all of us working together to change our communities for the better.
Particularly during this holiday time, you too may be looking back in gratitude and giving back to a charitable organization in your own community. Or you may be giving back by supporting your local merchants, schools, by volunteering or practicing random acts of kindness. Whatever or however any of us choose to give back, we all know that our communities reap the benefit of our collective and diverse supportive effort; it invites all to dare look forward with optimism.
From all of us at CMI, we wish you and your families — and your local communities — abundance, happiness and peace in a new year filled with hope. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
